Every October brings with it the start of numerous drawing challenges, the goal of which is to try to complete a drawing everyday based on a single word prompt. I've been taking up this challenge the last couple of years, you can read all about my first Sketchathon in an earlier blog post. The goal for me during this time of the year is to really push myself to just draw, to get back to the basics. This in turn becomes invaluable practice with opportunities to take any of the drawings further later on. I try to get inspired from the words being offered but don't really complete the lists in any specific order. I didn't complete a drawing everyday but I am proud of the drawings and sketches I did do. I've also ended up with a few ideas for projects later on. Below is the collection of drawings and sketches completed throughout the month.
