David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation Wildlife Artist of the Year 2021

The David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation Wildlife Artist of the Year is a well-known competition and exhibition showcasing wildlife art from around the world. The competition gets hundreds of entries every year and artists that are shortlisted have the opportunity to showcase and sell their artwork as part of the exhibition. Half of the proceeds from sold artwork goes to the foundation to help support conservation efforts.

This year I submitted two pieces to Wildlife Artist of the Year 2021. The competition this year saw over 2,300 entries and after months of judging I'm happy to announce that both my Green Sea Turtle and Megalodon Tooth illustrations have been shortlisted. I entered my Green Sea Turtle illustration into the ‘Facing Extinction’ category and my Megalodon Tooth was submitted to the ‘Into the Blue’ category. I’m very humbled to have been shortlisted among so many amazing artists. The exhibition takes place online on May 25, 2021.
